Creating Our Highest Potential through 5 Principles of Leadership According to John Friend

“Only one thing makes a dream impossible: the fear of failure.” – Paulo Coelho

Are you making your dreams come true? Have you taken those necessary steps to connect with your highest potential? Or is fear holding you back?

Fear. It is an imaginary stumbling block created in our mind…connected often to belief systems that do nothing but hold us back from leading our lives to where we want them to be.

Sometimes the best way to diminish the fear is to break our actions and focus into smaller aspects so that we are not lost in the bigger picture.  In the following video of John Friend, he discusses how we can engage our highest potential in what he calls the “5 Principles of Leadership”. In our opinion this does not only apply to leadership in business, but also in taking charge of creating the life we want to live…

So, to recap, the five principles that can help us to be leaders and to create our best life possible are:

1. Be open like the sky

2. Be humble

3. Start fresh and new everyday, let go of the old paradigm

4. Be like the earth: be steady every day, with a deep dedication to serve

5. Increase the capacity to feel and be compassionate

It is up to each one of us individually to walk the path of creating our own highest potential, and in that creation we help others to do the same. Let us all become leaders of our own truths and blissfulness, because with this honesty we create a better world.

Or to quote John Friend, “Stoke your fire with meaning everyday in your life so you literally burn with the desire to go to the next level…Be adventurous.”
